Screenshot Saturday #16 - More enemies, more colors, more weapons
Here’s a list of stuff I did this week and some screenshots.
Added bat, bouncy ball, and wall-hugger enemies.
Added two kinds of bows and arrows.
Added the boxing gloves.
Cracked floor tiles will break underfoot.
Each dungeon gets a different procedurally-generated color scheme, and one of a few preset tilesets.
The boxing gloves are, admittedly, done quite poorly. The animation is basically non-existent and they lack a real game mechanic. The effect they have is to act like a shield that pushes back enemies and deals damage exclusively to flying mobs.
Being able to punch arrows out of the air is kind of cool though, so I might just put them in the game as a trophy item for completing some silly or meaningless task.
